Just after releasing one of the pop songs of the year and with all the pop music lovers’ attention on her, Katy Perry made an unexpected appearance at a Barcelona nightclub with some surprises that you couldn’t even dream of.
To better explain all this, we need to give you some context. The artist was the surprise guest at the finale of the LGBT Pride party in Barcelona, so it was expected that her appearance in the Catalan city would not go unnoticed. The ‘Woman’s World’ singer stopped by La Terrrazza, a well-known nightclub celebrating the iconic ‘Churros con Chocolate’ party.
To the sound of ‘Rain On Me,’ the original song by Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande, Katy Perry made an iconic entrance into the venue, creating some of the most curious images captured by everyone’s cameras. From dancing ‘La Macarena’ without any embarrassment to pretending to be a waitress and handing out shots to the attendees.
Katy Perry Premiered a Song at This Barcelona Nightclub
It’s true that the night was full of funny anecdotes, but perhaps what Katy Perry’s fans appreciated the most was her gesture of playing one of her new, unreleased songs through the nightclub’s speakers. ‘Lifetime’ was the chosen one, a song that owns the pure pop essence of Katy, though also with clear electronic influences, which seems to be the essence of ‘143,’ the album the artist will present on September 20th.
The images captured by everyone present seem surreal and have left many of her fans and pop music lovers amazed at what happened. But we confirm that all of this is real, it was not a dream, and Katy Perry has shown she hasn’t forgotten her Hispanic audience.
