Christian Nodal was performing live music in his native Mexico, but what he didn’t expect was to start the final part of the year on the wrong foot. Fans who were planning to attend his show in Pachuca were met with the news that the event would not take place after the artist temporarily canceled his schedule.
The singer of La Intención was rushed to the hospital. Although in the statement he shared on his social media announcing the cancellation of his concert, he did not give details about the reason for his hospitalization, rumors suggest it could be due to a stomach infection. «We inform you that due to health reasons concerning our artist Christian Nodal, we regret to announce the postponement of the event, rescheduled for next Monday, October 14, where purchased tickets will remain valid,» the statement read.
Regardless, Nodal’s photo from his hospital bed quickly spread on social media, showing that the Mexican singer needs his fans’ support now more than ever. «As always, we appreciate your support, love, and understanding,» the statement concluded.
Cristy Nodal, the artist’s mother, also shared her thoughts on her Instagram Stories. She posted the statement along with a message directed at someone, though it’s unclear who. «Take good care of him. From here on out, no more talking; protect your strategies well and let them live in peace,» she wrote.
