The scandal surrounding Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs continues to escalate, with 120 individuals now accusing him of sexual abuse and exploitation. According to attorney Tony Buzbee, who is leading the case, among the plaintiffs are 25 minors who allege they were victims during the incidents.
During a press conference on October 1, 2024, Buzbee stated, “This is a very serious matter. We will leave no stone unturned in our pursuit of justice and finding all those responsible.” However and despite the grave accusations, the 54-year-old rapper continues to plead not guilty.
Buzbee also announced in his statement, “This group of brave individuals include(s) both men and women. Many were minors when the abuse occurred. Each individual story is gut-wrenching and heartbreaking […] The violations against this group of individuals are mindboggling. And can only be described as debauchery and depravity, exacted by powerful people against minors and the weak.”
Prosecutors claim that Diddy led a criminal network that coerced women into sexual acts not only through threats of violence. But also by exploiting their financial instability or damaging their reputation. Currently, Combs remains in jail, having been denied bail while awaiting trial.
According to Buzbee, the accusations come from several states, and many of them claim that at Diddy’s parties, people were forced to drink and, in some cases, drugged to control them. According to Houston Public Media, many of these alleged cases have a similar beginning: a drink laced with a drug called xylazine, a tranquilizer that’s not approved for use on people, according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control.
“Once that drink takes effect, the perpetrators perform all kinds of sexual acts on the victims. Many times passing him or her around as other people watch and enjoy the show and then leave the victim ashamed, confused, injured and wondering what happened.”
