Was Britney Spears Another of P. Diddy’s Victims?

In 2007, the singer claimed she was drugged at the rapper's party, but no one believed her at the time

2007 was a turning point in Britney Spears’ life. It was the year she split from Kevin Federline, and her fight for custody of her kids began. She also spent a brief stint in rehab (just 24 hours) and famously shaved her head. Many started to question her mental health, assuming her actions were due to her chaotic lifestyle.

That year, she also had a tough moment at a P. Diddy party, where she had to be carried out because she couldn’t stand on her own.

With all the other scandals she was involved in, this incident didn’t get much attention. She had been attending the birthday party of Casandra Ventura, P. Diddy’s partner at the time. Last year, Ventura’s accusations of abuse and violence triggered the investigation that has now led to his imprisonment.

Two Ways to Look at that Night

Back then, she explained that someone had spiked her drink, which left her disoriented and needing help to get around. But at the time, no one believed her. She wasn’t in the best place, often seen partying with friends like Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, so it was mostly brushed off as part of her wild lifestyle.

Now, people are seeing that night differently. With the recent scandal involving Sean Combs, old footage is being looked at with new meaning. We saw something similar with Justin Bieber, and now it’s happening with Britney.

Lately, there’s been a lot of talk about Puff Daddy’s infamous parties, which were far from innocent. The rapper, who’s currently in prison awaiting trial, is facing multiple lawsuits accusing him of sexual abuse, among other crimes. These new revelations are changing how we see many past events that were once judged in one way but are now being viewed in a completely different light.

From that point on, Britney Spears’ life started to decline. She had a poor performance at the MTV Awards. Although she explained in her tell-all memoir The Woman in Me, that it was because seeing her ex, Justin Timberlake, doing so well made her anxious while she struggled with stage fright, now it seems there might be more to the story.

In her memoir, Britney said: “I’d been eyeballed so much growing up. I’d been looked up and down, had people telling me what they thought of my body, since I was a teenager. Shaving my head and acting out were my ways of pushing back.”

Many believe she could have been another victim of Diddy, and that the abuse she suffered as a teenager led to the emotional instability that caused the behavior no one understood at the time.

Britney Spears and Diddy’s Connection

According to the Daily Mail, Tri Star Sports & Entertainment Group, the celebrity management company criticized for its involvement in Britney Spears’ conservatorship, has now been found to have ties to Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.

The founder, president, and CEO of the company is Lou M. Taylor, Britney Spears’ former business manager. Spears has accused Taylor of playing a key role in setting up her conservatorship in 2008. Taylor has also represented Combs, having had a relationship with him since 1990.

Spears had also criticized Robin Greenhill, Tri Star’s Director of Services, who was mentioned in a civil lawsuit against Diddy by producer Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones, even before the scandal that landed Diddy in jail broke.

In the court documents, Jones claimed he was told to recruit prostitutes and engage in sexual acts with them for Diddy’s pleasure. He also claimed to have hundreds of hours of video showing Combs’ ‘serious illegal activities’.

A 2021 report by The New York Times claimed that Greenhill controlled Spears’ credit cards and medication, and that Tri Star had allegedly used the singer’s own money to hire a security team to keep an eye on her during the conservatorship.

Tri Star, Taylor, and Greenhill have denied these claims, stating that Spears’ conservatorship was set up ‘based on the recommendation of a legal advisor, not Tri Star, and was approved by the court for over 12 years.’ But now, doubts are beginning to surface, and many are waiting for the full story to come out.

It seems what we’ve learned so far about the rapper is just the tip of the iceberg, and there are still plenty of shocking stories left to be uncovered.
