Earlier this year, news that Måneskin would be taking a short break as a group made waves in the media. What started as an unconfirmed rumor has now become reality, with several members beginning to explore solo projects. The band’s bassist, Victoria D’Angelis, better known as Vic, is one of the first to step out on her own, swapping her bass for a DJ setup.

With a packed schedule of festival dates and performances, the Italian musician is now launching her first solo project. For this, she’s teamed up with an international star. Brazilian singer Anitta joins her on an explosive track titled ‘GET UP B*TCH! Shake ya ass.’

For now, there’s no sneak peek available to give us more details about the release. However, from the few seconds shared on both artists’ social media, it’s clear that the song will have a strong electronic vibe. The full track is set to drop in just a few days, on August 30, and it promises to bring a mix of fresh, unexpected sounds.

Anitta and ‘Måneskin’

In case you didn’t know, Anitta has already teamed up with another member of Måneskin. Damiano, the band’s lead singer, appeared in one of Anitta’s music videos for her hit song ‘Mil Veces’. In that video, the two definitely turned up the heat in just a few seconds.

Anitta Has New Projects on the Way

Even though Anitta is currently on vacation, she’s recently shared details about several exciting projects and events. One of them is her collaboration on ‘Alegría,’ a single by Tiago PZK that also features Emilia. The track blends English, Spanish, and Portuguese, while highlighting the funk sounds that Anitta is so well known for.

As if that weren’t enough, after wrapping up her Baile Funk Experience tour just a few days ago, the Brazilian star has also announced that she’ll be performing at the NFL halftime show in São Paulo on September 6. Fans can definitely expect a unique and memorable performance.
