2024 Top Viral Summer Songs on TikTok in the United States and Globally

Latin sounds are making a big impact with TikTok users all around the world

Surprisingly, it’s not an English-language song, but the viral sensation that took over the platform: ‘Gata Only’. This track by the Chilean duo FloyyMenor and Cris Mj, released in February, had all the makings of a hit, especially by June when it became the soundtrack to some of TikTok’s most viral dance trends.

“I knew from the start this song was a global hit, and its success makes me incredibly proud. I’m grateful to the TikTok community for helping it reach a worldwide audience,” said FloyyMenor. The track has already racked up over 1 billion streams on Spotify and has been featured in more than 1.5 million TikTok videos.

Coming in behind the young artists, ‘Nasty’ by Tinashe takes second place, and Karol G’s hit ‘Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido’ lands in the tenth position. This summer, ‘La Bichota’ has been one of the biggest stars in the music scene.
