Collaborations between artists have become quite popular. Bringing together the talent of different artists can create a true musical explosion, often blending their unique styles and genres. A great example is the remix of «Por Las Noches,» originally by Peso Pluma, which later featured Nicki Nicole. The mix of ‘La Doble P’s’ corridos tumbados with Nicole’s harmonious and sweet voice has made one of the best remixes so far.
Collaborations also help break down barriers between countries and, more importantly, between languages. With the rise of Latin music and Spanish-language songs, more and more Anglo artists are looking to work with Latin artists to add a touch of Latin rhythm to their music.
You probably already know some of the collaborations that have brought Latin talent together with the Anglo world, like J Balvin, Bad Bunny, and Tainy with Dua Lipa for «UN DÍA (ONE DAY).» Or how about when Snoop Dogg surprised us all during the pandemic by singing in both Spanish and English in «QUÉ MALDICIÓN» with Banda MS? But did you know that the Jonas Brothers have worked with both Karol G and Sebastián Yatra? Keep reading, and you might discover more collaborations you didn’t know about.
