Karol G’s history-making ‘Mañana Será Bonito’ just celebrated its first anniversary, and we can affirm that the singer’s fourth studio album has completely changed her life. And a year later, we might have a new surprise from the «TUS GAFITAS» singer. If a few days ago the accidental (or not) leak of a possible song with the veteran of the genre, Arcángel, went viral, this past week we unveiled what could be a highly anticipated collaboration with one of the current Spanish-speaking pop divas.

And that would be none other than the Catalan artist Aitana. The singer of «miamor,» who has shown a most empowering musical evolution, approaching the style of other Latin music superstars like Karol herself, took advantage of Milan Fashion Week to drop some hints about what could come in 2024.

«As a singer, where I feel most comfortable is on stage or in a studio composing songs, and this kind of thing is like stepping out of my comfort zone. You end up getting interested in the world of fashion and where all that comes from,» the singer told Vogue Mexico.

On her way to the Maison Margiela presentation, the young artist revealed that she would love to collaborate with Shawn Mendes. «I would love to collaborate; I admire him a lot, that’s a known thing. I went to see his concert when he came to Barcelona in 2019. He invited me, and it made me very happy. I wanted to see him live, I had never seen him, and I admire him a lot,» she said.

However, when asked about female interpreters, the artist was clear. «An artist I would love to collaborate with… Karol G, I really like her.» What a great song it would be if they were both together. She made it clear, could it be because something is already in the works?

Karol G and Aitana met in 2018 at the Universal Music offices after the Catalan finished her successful run on the talent show Operación Triunfo in 2017, and her song «Lo Malo» dominated the charts. The author of «Mañana Será Bonito» didn’t hesitate to shower praises after hearing such a hit.
