Your Fault (‘Culpa Tuya’), the second part of My Fault (‘Culpa Mía’), the film adaptation of Mercedes Ron’s works, is undoubtedly one of the most highly anticipated sagas of the past year. It is the most-watched non-English-language film on Prime Video, and this second installment will be globally released on the platform on December 27.
However, something seems to overshadow this official launch on the platform: the alleged tension between its lead stars, Nicole Wallace and Gabriel Guevara.

The Story of Nicole Wallace and Gabriel Guevara
Before acting in Culpa Tuya, Gabriel and Nicole had already started their careers in acting with good results.
Guevara made his debut in the Spanish version of Skam in 2018, acting in other Netflix and Amazon Prime productions before Culpa Mía. A similar story for Nicole, who also appeared in Skam and Netflix’s Ni Una Más.
Rumors pointing to a bad relationship between the two suggest several theories. One of them is that Guevara was arrested in September 2023 during the Venice Film Festival, accused of an alleged sexual assault when he was a minor in France.

«This is a lie. My son has not set foot in France since he was a child. He has never done anything with anyone. Also, he doesn’t go to France. He hasn’t returned to France since 2015. There has never been sexual violence,» said his mother, French actress Malène Mourreau, in an interview with Spanish television.
Now free and acquitted of charges, it seems that this is not really the cause that triggered the tensions with Nicole, as both began to appear closer than ever on social media, posting several photos together with great chemistry.
Another theory is that both starred in the series Ni Una Más, a production aimed at giving a voice to women affected by gender violence. However, its director, Eduard Cortés, has recently been accused of abusing dozens of women. Nicole has publicly supported the victims, but Guevara has not commented on the matter. It is said that this might have sparked or worsened a conflict between the two.

The situation seemed to settle until their recent encounter on the Culpa Mía carpet in December 2024, where Nicole insisted that they have «a good working relationship,» although Guevara preferred to clear up rumors by saying they were friends, even though they were working together at the time.
