Nicki Nicole has not only become one of the most influential figures in Latin music, but she is also one of the most listened-to female Latina artists in the world. Of course, this means she collaborates with big names in the industry.
Her star-studded collaborations include an endless list: from Myke Towers to Bizarrap, and including Young Miko, Duki, and her former partner, global star Peso Pluma. However, there’s one big name we’ve never seen featured with the Argentine, though she has revealed they have a well-kept secret.
It’s C. Tangana, the Spanish artist who started as a rapper and became a global reference thanks to his award-winning El Madrileño (2021). This studio album combines traditional Spanish music with R&B, pop, and some experimental styles.

Despite the affinity between C. Tangana and Nicki, they have never released a collaboration together, although the Argentine reveals that such recordings exist.
«It happened with C. Tangana, for example. I never released a song with him even though we’ve been in the studio together since 2019. We have songs and everything, but we really need to get to know each other better and find the right moment. Sometimes it’s like that, and you have to give things time.»
Apparently, the Rosario-born artist and ‘pucho’ (C. Tangana’s nickname) have spent long hours in the studio but haven’t found the ideal combination to release their work. Nicole has previously mentioned that her chemistry with the artists she collaborates with is crucial to her creative process.
Nicki hasn’t hesitated to reveal which artist she dreams of collaborating with: none other than Spaniard Rosalía (who also had an artistic and personal relationship with C. Tangana in the past).
The truth is, the Catalan artist is already a popular choice on the wishlist of many artists who want to collaborate with her. And we’d love to see a Nicki Nicole ft. Rosalía collaboration soon! Especially considering Nicki has confirmed she’s currently working on her next album, which will feature a lot of trap.
