The LOS40 Music Awards Santander 2024 left us with countless emotions, all positive. It was a very special night for Latin and Spanish-language music, serving primarily as a fundraiser for those affected by the DANA tragedy in Spain, a natural disaster that resulted in 200 deaths and nearly a hundred missing people.
The ceremony was packed with major Latin industry stars, including Rauw Alejandro, Maluma, Myke Towers, and Bad Gyal. Also in attendance was one of the year’s top sensations, alternative/indie singer Teddy Swims, who has captivated audiences with hits like ‘Bad Dreams’ and ‘Lose Control,’ among others.
In addition to giving us one of the night’s best performances, Swims shared an exciting piece of news: the Latin star he most wants to collaborate with. Recently, he crossed paths with Karol G at the annual Rare Beauty gala organized by Selena Gomez. There, he had the chance to meet the ‘Bichota’ and watch her perform live.

After that moment, Teddy is certain: he wants to collaborate with the star behind ‘QLONA.’
“If she considered to do something with me, I’d jump in. She was so kind, so sweet, such a talent. I can’t say more good things about Karol,” he told our host, Gaby Cam.
Indeed, collaborations between English-speaking and Latin artists are on the rise, bringing wonderful results, like Grupo Firme with Demi Lovato on ‘Chula,’ Peso Pluma and Rich The Kid on ‘Gimme a Second,’ and ‘São Paulo’ with The Weeknd and Anitta. How do you think a Teddy Swims ft. Karol G collaboration would turn out?
