Suki Waterhouse’s Red Dress Steals the Spotlight at the Emmy Awards

Pregnancy doesn't mean sacrificing style on the red carpet

A stunning red dress from Valentino Haute Couture’s Spring-Summer 2023 collection, designed by Pierpaolo Piccioli, stole the spotlight at the 2024 Emmy Awards, which were postponed due to the Hollywood strike.

Suki Waterhouse, model, actress, and singer, who is expecting her first child with Robert Pattinson, has been turning heads with her elegant maternity fashion choices at events earlier this year. Pregnancy doesn’t mean sacrificing style on the red carpet. In fact, it’s an opportunity to take fashion risks and make a statement with outfits tailored for baby bumps. You can still embrace cutouts, body-hugging silhouettes, or even crop tops.

The Show-Stopping Dress

Waterhouse managed to stand out among a constellation of stars. She wore a striking Valentino dress with a square neckline and a cut that tastefully showcased her pregnant belly and her entire back. The dress was accentuated with a bow below her abdomen, drawing attention to her upcoming arrival, which she considers the most precious gift.

The ensemble was completed with a voluminous skirt that garnered its share of the limelight. This exquisite look was curated by fashion stylists Rob Zangardi and Mariel Haenn. Waterhouse balanced the dramatic flair of the dress with a natural makeup and hairstyle. Her wavy locks, complemented by her trademark bangs, perfectly matched the elegance of the outfit. She adorned herself with jewelry from Tiffany & Co.

Her once-concealed pregnant belly was now proudly displayed as Waterhouse chose to embrace it while promoting her work in Everyone Loves Daisy Jones. The only thing missing was her partner, Robert Pattinson, to complete the picture of a contented family. Accompanying her was her fellow series star, Camila Morrone, creating a coordinated look that emphasized their excellent chemistry.

Clearly, the color red was a standout choice for such events. However, the evening concluded without Waterhouse receiving an award.
