It’s one of the most anticipated series of 2025, and fans are holding on to any detail they can to endure the wait. Stranger Things has always taken its time between seasons, and the fifth and final season is no exception. The Duffer brothers want everything to be perfect for the series that brought them fame.
But the secrecy can’t last forever. The cast of Stranger Things has other projects, and during their promotion, they are often asked about the Netflix series. In an interview for the podcast Podcrushed, hosted by Penn Badgley (You), Nava Kavelin, and Sophie Ansari, Maya Hawke, the actress who plays Robin, shared some details about the final season of the series.
Maya Hawke reveals the final season of ‘Stranger Things’ will have movie-length episodes:

This has sparked a lot of controversy, with people both for and against it.
Those in favor argue that longer episodes mean more content and deeper character and plot development. On the other hand, those against it say they don’t want to watch such long episodes and would prefer more episodes of shorter duration.
At LOS40, we wonder, isn’t it the same thing in the end? The more content we can get of the kids from Hawkins, the better.
