With no updates from Shakira herself, leaks have started popping up. It’s not surprising, given how many people are involved in making her music. Clips of songs that could be from Shakira’s new album have been circulating on platforms like TikTok and X (formerly known as Twitter). 

While we’re not going to share or promote any leaked content, there’s one song in particular that’s getting a lot of buzz. It features Shakira’s unmistakable voice and has lyrics like: ‘I know you’ll put me through the wringer, It was a trap, but I fell for it again, I was on my own, but I went looking for you, Oh, I’m getting too attached, Too wrapped up in you, Are we just fooling around, Or are we more than friends, I’m getting really into this, But maybe it’s better not to go any further, Because it’s just not meant to be with me.’

In the nearly 40 seconds of leaked material, Shakira’s voice is heard alone, sparking speculation that it might be a solo track. However, Shakira’s team hasn’t confirmed or denied whether this song will be her next single. 

This isn’t the first time one of Shakira’s songs from her upcoming album has leaked. It also happened with «Copa Vacía,» one of the most talked-about hits of 2023, which she collaborated on with Manuel Turizo. This early release strategy can create buzz but also takes away the surprise and excitement of the official release. 

Shakira’s Birthday 

Shakira recently celebrated her 47th birthday with her family and is currently enjoying a high point in her long and successful music career. Now, we’re just waiting to find out when the album will drop so we can hear all the tracks. “I’m really excited about the collaborations on this album, which will surprise people. I’m hoping to release it early next year and then embark on a world tour, the biggest and most important of my career,” said the singer from Barranquilla.
