Music brings people together in so many ways. While the music industry might seem like a completely different world, personal relationships are just like those in our everyday lives. Attending various events and working in the same field often leads to unexpected friendships.
That’s exactly what happened recently with two stars from the music world. Christina Aguilera and Sabrina Carpenter shared a video on social media that quickly went viral. Fans were surprised not only by the close friendship they seem to have, but also by the fun audio they chose to reenact.
Dressed in black and gold, they acted out a scene from Keeping Up with the Kardashians, where Kylie Jenner expresses her devotion to her mother. With the age difference between them, Christina Aguilera could easily play the role of Sabrina Carpenter’s mother.

The public appearance of these two artists has a special reason behind it. Christina Aguilera is celebrating 25 years of her career by releasing new versions of songs from her debut album, and Sabrina Carpenter will be featured in one of them.
Even though Christina has been performing much longer than Sabrina, their collaboration is bound to be a hit. Sabrina is one of the biggest stars right now, and her recent album, SHORT N’ SWEET, has reached impressive milestones and certifications in no time. In fact, the lead single, ‘Espresso,’ has already surpassed a billion streams on major music platforms.

It’s no secret how much Sabrina looks up to Aguilera: “She was one of my first idols and icons,” she revealed in an interview. Alongside Sabrina, Machine Gun Kelly will also be joining Christina on these new versions, offering two very different takes on music. On one hand, you’ve got pop from Sabrina, and on the other, English rap with one of the biggest names in that genre. The release date for this exciting project is set for September 23.
What do you think of this collaboration between the two artists? And the addition of Machine Gun Kelly?
