Sabrina Carpenter has become a true icon for Generation Z. While she’s now one of the top names in music, her career actually started years ago as a child actress on Disney Channel—a fun fact some might not know or may have forgotten. This holiday season, Netflix has chosen Sabrina to star in a special Christmas program premiering on December 6 at 9 p.m. ET.
The show, titled A Nonsense Christmas, will mix music and humor, inspired by the charm of classic holiday variety specials. But with a modern, fresh twist. It’s directed by Sam Wrench, the same director behind Taylor Swift’s 2023 concert film.

Sabrina will perform songs from her holiday EP, Fruitcake, released in November 2023, along with renditions of classic holiday hits that have become seasonal favorites. She won’t be doing it alone, as viewers can also look forward to duets with artists like Chappell Roan, Kali Uchis, Tyla, and Shania Twain.
The program isn’t just about music—it will also include special appearances by Nico Hiraga, Quinta Brunson, Cara Delevingne, Kyle Mooney, Megan Stalter, Sean Astin, Owen Thiele, and Jillian Bell, all of whom will bring a fun, comedic touch to the show.
