Rosalía Teases New Music: When Will It Be Released?

Rosalía definitely can’t stop giving us content this week! Just a few days ago, she made an appearance at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games opening in a stunning beige Dior outfit. This weekend, she set social media on fire with the extravagant bouquet she gave her friend Charli XCX for her birthday. But that’s not all—the ‘motomami’ has continued to give her fans reasons to be excited.

On the night of August 5, Rosalía decided to surprise her followers with an Instagram Live session. “IG LIVE IN 30’, who’s active? hahajj,” wrote the Catalan singer on her social media.

Rosalía kicked off the session on her Instagram account, where we saw the diva in her most natural state: at home, doing her nails, joking around, taking a fun quiz, and even making a late-night stew. Pure Rosalía!

But the Spanish artist wasn’t just chatting casually with her fans—she planned to share a snippet of what’s coming next, and she did just that. The Catalan artist played a song that reminds us a bit of her ‘Motomami’ era. We heard her voice through the speakers of a Mac, singing and rapping over a hip-hop beat fused with an experimental style characteristic of the creator of ‘SAOKO’.

Undoubtedly, Rosalía’s fans are blown away by this teaser and can’t wait for the release date. “Do you know what sets her apart?? Is This ‘brand new día’, the Rumored Collaboration with LISA?

Since Rosalía has teased her upcoming music, fans have been speculating about where this song might fit in. Some theories even suggest a collaboration with Bizarrap, who has been in Barcelona this past month (although Rosalía has been based in Los Angeles for almost the past year).

Most of the theories seem to point to ‘brand new día’, the rumored collaboration with Blackpink’s Lisa (aka LaLisa), with whom Rosalía has a great relationship, as we reported this week on LOS40 USA. The preview from Rosalía and the one Lisa did a few days ago have a striking resemblance, and it could very well be the same song given their similar styles.

However, on Tuesday, August 6, Lisa confirmed the collaboration with Rosalía, noting that it is actually called ‘New Woman.’ Could it be the same song we’ve seen in both artists’ social media in recent days?
