Rosalía & Anitta Reunite at an Exclusive Party In NY: What Were They Doing?

The Spanish star has also reunited with Pharrell Williams and Rosé

The MET Gala 2024 is almost here, and the world’s most famous celebrities are starting to arrive in New York City. In a city that never sleeps, there’s always something exclusive happening. Just look at Rosalía. The Spanish star, already in the Big Apple, attended one of the city’s fanciest events this Thursday, May 2nd: the unveiling of Pharrell Williams’ new Tiffany line. Yes, that’s the famous jewelry brand everyone knows.

Rosalía showed up at the event, a classy dinner full of familiar faces, wearing an amazing long black strapless dress with a slit down the leg. She was there to support her friend during this big launch. After all, Pharrell Williams and she have known each other for years.

In that gathering, the singer from El Mal Querer bumped into some well-known faces from the entertainment industry. And of course, she met up with a colleague she’s quite fond of: Anitta. The two artists posed for the cameras. This isn’t their first meeting though. 

We’ve seen them together at the LOS40 Music Awards 2022 and in the 2019 edition, where they seemed to hit it off. Actually, during their first meeting, the Brazilian singer even mentioned, “I’d love to collaborate with her. We once talked about creating a song like a dance-off, each representing our culture through our dance moves: one from Spain, the other from Brazil. It would be a friendly showdown, of course.”

Definitely, it would be amazing to see these two artists collaborate, though we should keep in mind that Anitta’s comments are from 2019, and both singers have continued to grow musically since then.

Is Rosalía Planning a Collab with Tiffany?

Rosalía also caught up with one of her best pals in the music biz: Pharrell Williams, who co-wrote some tracks on her Motomami album. They even worked together on the song «Hentai.» She also met up with Rosé, a member of the famous group BLACKPINK, with whom Rosalía shares a great friendship.

But in the world of entertainment, nothing happens randomly. Rosalía was spotted with Anthony Ledru at the event, who is the current president of Tiffany. It’s likely they were discussing business matters.

Could there be a collaboration in the works between Rosalía and the famous jewelry brand? Or maybe she’ll be adorned in some of their pieces at the MET Gala. In this industry, anything can happen.
