Camilo and Evaluna have finally unveiled all the surprises they had planned for their fans: three brand-new songs, with one of them being a collaboration. While we already knew about the collaboration, the couple kept us eagerly anticipating details like the lyrics, melody, and, most importantly, the message behind each song. These three tracks make up their latest album, Un.
There were rumors circulating about a possible pregnancy, which left fans speculating, with some even guessing that the surprises might involve twins. However, it turned out to be two new songs: «Gordo» and «No Se Vale.»
“Realizing that someone can love another person in the SAME WAY again is painful… That’s what «Gordo» is about, a song that’s emotionally intense from start to finish. It’s okay to dance and cry at the same time,” explained Camilo on his social media. Fans immediately went to the Instagram of the singer’s ex to see if the song’s narrative was inspired by real events. Could it be?
So, «Gordo» talks about that moment when you realize someone you once cared deeply for is treating another person the same way they treated you. And «No Se Vale» is all about hitting the dance floor, as the artist puts it: “It’s for dancing your heart out. Is it spelled with an ‘s’? Haha. This song is for the person left behind, feeling lost as time passes, longing for what used to be but might never return. LET’S DANCE AWAY OUR SORROWS!!!!” he wrote.
«PLIS» hasn’t disappointed and has brought lots of love and excitement to hear it live. It’s a song that perfectly captures the couple’s style, filled with romance and hope for the future they’re dreaming of together. There’s no denying that the couple still radiates affection from every angle.
