Peso Pluma has surprised all his fans. And no, we’re not talking about the two collaborations he dropped almost simultaneously on May 24: ‘Sin Yolanda’ with Gabito Ballesteros and ‘Gimme a Second’ with Rich The Kid. No! We’re referring to the fact that Doble P has finally revealed the tracklist and cover for his upcoming LP.
The Jalisco native has been teasing his fourth studio album for weeks. Given Peso Pluma’s track record of successful collaborations, it’s no surprise that his new project will feature many as well!
‘Éxodo’ will be divided into two sections. The first part consists of 14 tracks, where Peso Pluma teams up with his loyal companions and young icons of corridos tumbados like Natanael Cano, Gabito Ballesteros, Chino Pacas, Oscar Maydon, and Luis R Conriquez. It also includes his recent track ‘La Durango’ with Eslabon Armado (with whom he already triumphed on ‘Ella Baila Sola,’ the hit that took him to the top) and Junior H.
In addition to these songs, Peso Pluma will include a second part with 8 tracks, where he explores other genres. This will feature collaborations with American hip hop stars like Rich the Kid and Quavo, as well as urban music stars like Arcángel, Ryan Castro, and Kenia OS. And we can’t forget the great Latin divas! On one hand, there’s ‘Bellakeo’ with his great friend Anitta, and an unprecedented collaboration that leaves us speechless: ‘Put Em In the Fridge’ with Cardi B! It will also include ‘Teka,’ an electro-corrido that seems to give a slight nod to his ex, Argentine singer Nicki Nicole.
Soon, we’ll see Doble P traveling across the country with the ‘Éxodo Tour,’ visiting multiple cities starting on May 26 at the Sueños Festival in Chicago, followed by stops in New York, Miami, Dallas, and Las Vegas, among others.
