Wow, what’s coming our way! LISA and Rosalía are set to perform on September 11 at the 2024 VMAs, as confirmed exclusively by Pop Crave. The Thai and Spanish stars will be taking the stage at the 40th edition of the most iconic music video awards in history.

After the positive response from both fans and critics to ‘New Woman,’ their much-anticipated collaboration, Rosalía and LISA have a new goal: to leave everyone speechless with their performance at the 2024 VMAs.

These awards are famous for delivering some of pop’s most unforgettable moments—from Miley Cyrus’s twerking to that legendary kiss between Britney Spears, Madonna, and Christina Aguilera. So, what can we expect from a performance by LISA and Rosalía? Honestly, anything! Both artists are known for bringing their best to every live show.

What to Expect from LISA and Rosalía’s ‘New Woman’ Performance?

This wouldn’t be the first time either LISA or Rosalía has performed at the VMAs. In fact, both have made history with their past performances! Rosalía took the stage in 2019 alongside Ozuna. The Catalan singer performed ‘Yo x Ti, Tu x Mi,’ but she started by captivating everyone with an a cappella version of ‘A Ningún Hombre’ from El Mal Querer.

Her performance at the 2019 MTV EMAs was even more memorable, where she took the stage with a full flamenco choir to sing ‘Pienso En Tu Mirá’. Rosalía used shadows, dance, and the flamenco artistry of her fellow performers to turn the stage into a real celebration—something that had never been seen at an MTV awards show before. With this, Rosalía has proven she knows how to make a statement with every performance at MTV awards shows.

LISA also has plenty of experience with MTV awards shows. In 2022, she performed with BLACKPINK on the VMAs stage and, as expected, left the audience in awe. BLACKPINK is known for their amazing dance skills, and LISA definitely delivered. For the ‘New Woman’ performance, we’re expecting a show where LISA and Rosalía really show off their dance abilities. They could be perfectly choreographed alongside a team of dancers, representing the strong femininity that the song is all about.

Given the music video’s aesthetic, it wouldn’t be surprising if they opt for a stage full of vibrant colors. We’ll just have to wait until September 11 to see how it all plays out.
