The Event of the Year 4, hosted by content creator Ibai Llanos, followed a weigh-in ceremony that brought surprises and featured changes to one of its most energetic segments, the King of the Ring. This year, the event set a new viewership record. One of the most surprising aspects of this digital event, streamed on Ibai Llanos’ Twitch channel from Bilbao, Spain, was that it surpassed last year’s peak viewership of 3,356,074 simultaneous viewers even before the red carpet.

Julieta Venegas kicked off the event.

The singer performed ahead of the showdown between Argentine streamer Carreraaa and Spanish streamer Agustín51, ending her set with the song «Me Voy» (I’m leaving).

Carreraaa Vs. Agustín51

In this match, both fighters gave their best, but by the final round, both seemed quite tired. The outcome was determined by a unanimous decision in favor of Agustín51, with Carreraaa attributing his loss to a hand injury.

Following this, Argentine Paulo Londra took the stage as the opening act for the second fight of The Event of the Year 4, Guanyar vs La Cobra, which peaked at 3,700,270 viewers.

The Guanyar vs La Cobra bout was stopped due to Guanyar’s injury and a decision by the medical team just one minute before the fight’s end, resulting in La Cobra being declared the winner.

One of the most talked-about moments was when La Cobra revealed a FC Barcelona jersey with Messi’s number 10 on it.

Before the match between Zeling and Nissaxter vs Alana and Amablitz, Puerto Rican artist Young Miko performed on stage.

Alana & Amablitz Demonstrated Their Superiority

Both Mexican fighters faced off against the Spaniards in a unique two-vs-two format where they alternated in 3-minute rounds.

The Mexicans emerged victorious with a technical knockout and unanimous decision. The fight was stopped when Alana took on Zeiling, with credit to Amablitz for wearing down the Spanish in the first round.

Turning to one of the most anticipated fights of The Event of the Year 4, David Bisbal took the stage.

Viruzz Vs. Shelao

This was one of the most thrilling fights because neither content creator wore headgear. The Spanish creator showed real strength, knocking down the Chilean in the second round. This secured his victory by unanimous decision, a moment that moved him to tears, as it symbolized redemption after having to withdraw from a fight last year due to an eye injury.

Will Smith at The Event of the Year

It’s important to mention that this was his first performance in Spain. He kicked off with «Gettin’ Jiggy Wit It» and wrapped up with a song he’d never sung before, alongside his son Jaden and rapper Russ.

Dance Floor Champion (Rey de la Pista)

After Will Smith’s show, The Event of the Year 4 hosted a thrilling dance competition where 9 contestants battled it out. Mexican Roberto_Cein took third place with 40 points. Colombian Pelicanger claimed second with 49 points. The title of Dance Floor Champion went to Karchezzz from Madrid.

Before the final fight, Argentine Bizarrap took the stage, mixing his top tracks, including one he collaborated on with Shakira, Music Sessions #53. He closed his performance by proudly waving the Argentine flag, referring to the upcoming final against Colombia the next day. He even jokingly cheered for the Spanish team to beat England.

In the final match between Spanish YouTuber Plex and Mexican El Mariana, the victory went to the hometown hero from Toro, Spain. The fight went through a split decision in the initial three rounds, and in the additional round, the judges unanimously decided the winner.
