Andrea Bocelli is one of the most beloved voices in the music world. The Italian tenor has been on stage for over four decades, showcasing one of the most impressive voices of his generation. And it’s no surprise—he’s one of the most renowned lyrical tenors out there.
Throughout his incredible career, Andrea Bocelli has caught the attention of artists from all generations. The latest? None other than Karol G, who joined him for a new version of his classic ‘Vivo por ella.’ This recording comes 29 years after Andrea first sang the song in Spanish with Marta Sánchez. And we have to say, it’s absolutely stunning.
The beautiful new music video for Andrea and KAROL G’s new single ‘Vivo Por Ella’ is out now. Thanks to KAROL and team for making it happen.

But Karol G isn’t the only star who’s had the chance to sing with Bocelli. At LOS40, we got a bit nostalgic and looked back at some of his collaborations. Do you know some of them?
In 2015, Andrea Bocelli teamed up with one of pop’s biggest stars, Ariana Grande, who was making waves in the music scene with hits like Break Free, Problem, and Bang Bang. Ariana, known for her incredible voice, embraced a more classical style and beautifully performed E piú te penso, a ballad from the movie Once Upon a Time in America. Andrea featured her on his album Cinema, where he paid tribute to some of the most iconic film soundtracks of all time.
Another pop star Andrea Bocelli has teamed up with is Dua Lipa. In 2018, the British singer joined the Italian tenor for the beautiful ballad ‘If Only’ on the album Sì. Dua Lipa’s voice blended perfectly with Andrea’s, showing yet another side of the singer. ‘If Only’ is definitely a song that pulls at your heartstrings.
The musical connection between Andrea Bocelli and Ed Sheeran is clear. The two artists first collaborated in 2017 on one of the year’s most talked-about ballads, ‘Perfect.’ After the original version and a duet with Beyoncé, Ed Sheeran partnered with Andrea Bocelli to create ‘Perfect Symphony,’ where the Italian tenor sang in Italian, bringing his own unique touch to the song.
A year later, Ed Sheeran teamed up with Andrea Bocelli again, this time for the song ‘Amo Soltanto Te’ from the album Sì. Ed sings four verses in Italian, and while he takes on more of a supporting role in this track, we still love the outcome.
In 2013, Andrea Bocelli released the Spanish version of his album Pasión. For this special project, he teamed up with one of the biggest pop divas of the 21st century, Jennifer Lopez. The Italian tenor chose to sing ‘Quizás, quizás, quizás’ with her, a classic by Cuban composer Osvaldo Farrés that’s been covered countless times. But we have to say, we love this version! They even performed it live together!
On that same 2013 album, Andrea also collaborated with Nelly Furtado. They worked together on a version of ‘Corcovado/Quiet Nights of Quiet Stars.’ The two artists reinterpreted these classics, showing just how beautifully their voices blend together.
Let’s go back to 2006, when Andrea Bocelli released his album Amor, where he paid tribute to some of the most iconic romantic songs from around the world. For this project, he teamed up with one of the biggest pop stars of the early 2000s: Christina Aguilera. Together, they performed the classic ‘Somos Novios,’ a ballad where Christina’s powerful voice truly shines. The combination of these two incredible artists is definitely worth listening to.
On the same album, Amor, Andrea worked with one of the most influential musicians from our country: Stevie Wonder. The two artists came together for ‘Canción Desafinada.’ While Stevie Wonder provides backing vocals in Italian, the collaboration between these two musical legends is truly something special.
Céline Dion is one of the queens of ballads. In 1998, she was the diva of the moment, and it made perfect sense for her to collaborate with one of the greatest voices at the time on her album These Are Special Times. The two artists came together for the song ‘The Prayer.’ One of the most memorable moments was when Céline said in an interview with Decca Records: “If God had a singing voice, it would probably sound a lot like Andrea Bocelli’s.”
