Jennifer Lopez, famous for her incredible talent in acting, dancing, and singing, is also known for her multiple marriages and high-profile romances. Because of that, she’s back in the spotlight again. This time, her first husband, Ojani Noa, made some bold claims about their divorce, directly blaming P. Diddy for getting involved in their relationship. But what really happened?
In a recent interview with Despierta América, Ojani Noa made a surprising statement: “Part of our divorce was Diddy’s fault,” he said when asked about why he and Jennifer Lopez split.
Noa explained that it all began when JLo signed her first major contract with Sony, and Diddy became one of the producers on her debut album. “When Sony came and paid her the millions she got, there was Puffy [Combs], who was going to be one of the producers of several tracks on the first album ‘On The 6,’” the actor stated in Spanish.

“That’s where the deception, the lies, the separation started,” Noa said. While he was busy opening his restaurant in Los Angeles, Jennifer was traveling between Miami and New York to record. Noa claims that during that time apart, everything fell apart.
But the story didn’t end there. Ojani also shared that after their divorce, Jennifer sued him, taking him to court, which, according to him, hurt his career. “She accused me of things I didn’t do, contacted several companies to get me fired, and ruined my chances of getting jobs with TV networks,” he recalled bitterly.
Jennifer Lopez’s relationship with Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, which lasted from 1999 to 2001, still sparks speculation, especially given Diddy’s recent legal troubles.
Let’s not forget that Diddy was arrested and is now facing serious charges, including sex trafficking and conspiracy to commit extortion. While JLo has chosen to stay silent on these issues, old photos of her and the rapper have resurfaced, reigniting rumors.
In a previous interview, Jennifer’s mother, Guadalupe Rodríguez, shared that she never approved of the relationship, especially after the 1999 incident when JLo and Diddy were arrested following a nightclub shooting in New York. Although Jennifer was released without charges, she spent 14 hours in custody, and that moment became a turning point in her life.
So far, Jennifer Lopez has stayed quiet about both Diddy and Ojani Noa’s statements. However, with Diddy’s recent legal troubles, it seems unlikely that this topic will disappear from the media spotlight anytime soon.
