By now it’s hard not to know someone who’s hooked on the drama of the moment — Bridgerton, a Netflix hit produced by star super-series creator Shonda Rhimes.
Now it seems that one Latin star is set to feature in the upcoming Season 3 of the Netflix romance, premiering in two parts: Part 1 on May 16 and Part 2 on June 3. It’s none other than Pitbull, the Cuban superstar who has undoubtedly transformed the electrolatino genre, amassing dozens of hits in recent years.
According to the information known so far, Mr. Worldwide will be taking an important role in the last episodes of the series — or at least, his music is.
His iconic ‘Give Me Everything,’ the danceable anthem originally featured by Ne-Yo, Afrojack, and Nayer, will be part of the soundtrack of the new releases. To suit the melodic and acoustic tone of the typical Bridgerton style, the song will be covered by Archer Marsh.
“That cover is so great because I feel like it’s a little bit outside of the sound of the covers we normally hear. The song is amazing, it has this great build to it and it’s going to be really fun to see the fan reactions,” revealed on the Pitbull cover Justin Kamps, Bridgerton‘s music supervisor.
In the third season of Bridgerton we will get to know more about the romance of the Bridgertons’ third brother, Colin, and Penelope Featherington. But honestly one of our big questions is, in what scene exactly might we see Pitbull?
