¡Madre mía, Rosalía, bájale! The artist is unstoppable wherever she goes, even on the set of a music video. On August 16, Rosalía and LISA amazed the world with their collaboration, ‘New Woman’. The Thai and Spanish stars gave it their all, delivering everything from a catchy song to a visually stunning music video filled with references that left no one indifferent.

In the weeks that followed, both LISA and Rosalía continued promoting the single, sharing TikToks and walking through the streets of Los Angeles together. Fans especially enjoyed watching them exchange Spanish and Thai lessons.

But it didn’t stop there. This past Wednesday, August 28, LISA released the Behind the Scenes of ‘New Woman’. The three-minute video gives us a look at how the two stars created the audiovisual piece directed by Dave Meyers. From the umbrella scenes to the shots where LISA is seen through a curtain, the video is full of memorable moments.

Rosalía and the Lyric Mix-Up

A moment that really had fans laughing was when Rosalía was chatting with LISA. The Spanish artist asked her friend what the actual lyrics of the chorus were because she had been singing “Face, ass, body go wild” instead of the correct “Face, eyes, body go wild”.

‘La Motomami’ had been swapping ‘eyes’ for ‘ass.’ “That’s what I always thought it was. So when I found out it was ‘eyes,’ I was like, ‘Oh no, she’s saying eyes,’” Rosalía said, laughing non-stop.

It turns out LISA didn’t mind the mix-up; she even started singing the chorus with Rosalía’s version. This playful moment between the two artists really shows how strong their chemistry is. “Today’s shoot was so much fun. I’m really happy I got to collaborate with an artist I truly love. I’m also thrilled because I worked with a fantastic director on a great song,” LISA said about Rosalía and Dave Meyers.

‘New Woman’ has been very well received on music platforms. In fact, the song is topping streaming charts in Thailand and Korea, part of the Asian market.
