Christian Nodal Fires Back at Criticism for His Daughter’s Birthday Controversy
The artist addressed the issue a few hours ago through his Instagram Stories
Christian Nodal has experienced some major changes in his life over the past few months. He recently welcomed the birth of his daughter Inti, ended his relationship with Cazzu, and fell in love with Ángela Aguilar. Whom he married just a couple of months ago. But despite all these changes, one thing that hasn’t wavered is his passion for his work.
Nodal has been touring the world with his Pal’ Cora tour, bringing Mexican regional music to international audiences. Music has become his escape, but as one of the top figures in the genre, he can’t avoid the fact that thousands of people around the world are keeping a close eye on his every move. Just recently, his decision ‘not to’ publicly wish his daughter a happy first birthday sparked quite a bit of controversy on social media.
People noticed that Cazzu spent the day with her daughter, enjoying a lovely party with friends and family. However, Nodal didn’t share anything about this special day on his social media profiles, which upset quite a few people.
In response to the wave of criticism, the artist addressed the issue a few hours ago through his Instagram Stories, putting an end to the controversy and making it clear that he doesn’t feel the need to post photos and videos of his daughter online.
What Nodal Said
“People are asking why I didn’t post photos of my daughter on her birthday, why I didn’t congratulate her on social media. I’m very aware of what’s going on. I’m not speaking to the fans; I’m talking about the media, from the most prestigious outlets to the lowest. Influencers, clowns, all kinds… they take a picture with my daughter and say, ‘Oh, this guy doesn’t want to pay child support.’ They talk so much crap, fill themselves with so much crap, that I don’t have the stomach to read it. […] The comments become a mess. Why would I expose my daughter to that? I don’t want to,” Nodal explained, among other things.

One thing is clear: Christian was there for his daughter Inti’s birthday and celebrated this special day with her. However, Cazzu chose not to show his face to avoid any speculation or unnecessary comments, which is completely understandable.
