Camila Cabello Omits ‘Taste’ in ‘Señorita’: A Wink at Sabrina Carpenter?

During her performance of ‘Señorita,’ Camila Cabello purposely left out a word from one of the lines. When she sang the verse “You say we’re just friends but friends don’t know the way you taste,” she didn’t say the last word. Instead, she playfully put her finger to her lips and gave the audience a fun look.

But why did she do this? It ties into the ongoing buzz around Sabrina Carpenter, Shawn Mendes, and herself. Ever since Carpenter released her song ‘Taste’ in August as part of Short N’ Sweet, many fans have been speculating that the lyrics refer to a love triangle from the time when Shawn was spotted with both Camila and Sabrina.

Over the past few weeks, Camila has seen social media filled with theories about that time. And how has she handled it? By having a little fun and laughing it off. During her performance of ‘Señorita,’ she gave the audience something to talk about by skipping the word ‘taste’ from the famous verse. Interestingly, that’s also the title of the song Sabrina is rumored to have written about her.
