Becky G Announces U.S. Tour: ‘Casa Gómez: Otro Capítulo Tour’

Additionally, the Mexican-American singer will be releasing a new single titled 'COMO DIABLOS'

It looks like the U.S. is ready to welcome the fall season with open arms, especially after Becky G’s latest announcement. The Mexican-American singer has just announced her upcoming Casa Gómez: Otro Capítulo Tour, which will take her across the country in October and November.

This announcement comes after the release of her latest album, ESQUINAS, which came out in September 2023. In this album, Becky paid tribute to her roots with a collection of songs featuring Mexican music. The tour will highlight this album, along with her recent singles boomerang and ‘MERCEDES,’ a collaboration with Oscar Maydon.

“Mi Gente (my people), I introduce to you… CASA GOMEZ: OTRO CAPÍTULO Tour. I’m so excited to share this with you guys […] I can’t wait to sing and laugh and dance and cry with you guys again muuuuuy pronto (very soon) 🥹💃🏽 It was so hard to keep this a secret,” the singer shared on social media.

Her last tour in the U.S. was at the end of 2023 with the Mi Casa, Tu Casa Tour, which marked her first headlining tour across the country, with stops in cities like Los Angeles, Orlando, and New York. For this new tour, Becky will donate one dollar from every ticket sold to the Save the Music Foundation. This helps ensure that millions of students across the United States have equal access to music education, according to Rolling Stone.

‘COMO DIABLOS’ – New Single

After recently announcing her U.S. tour, Becky G is making sure to give her fans exactly what they want. The singer just revealed a new single, ‘COMO DIABLOS,’ which will be released on August 29—perfect timing to kick off the Casa Gómez: Otro Capítulo Tour with a strong start.

With her latest album, ESQUINAS, Becky G honored her roots with a tracklist filled with Mexican musical elements. However, when ‘boomerang’ came out last March, we saw her return to her roots in pure, hard-hitting urban music.

Will the new single follow this genre? From the snippet we’ve heard, it seems the sound might take us back to her 2023 album. Becky G shared a video showing a graphic artist working on the cover art on a transparent sheet, where we get a glimpse of the song. The soft guitars and trumpets suggest we might be in for a Mexican ballad, along with the line ‘Tengo dolor de corazón (I have heartache)’ sung by Becky.

We’ll have to wait until August 29 to find out for sure when the full track drops. For now, the title reminds us of her song MALA SANTA. Plus, the heartache line combined with the devilish title hints that the theme of empowerment might play a role in the lyrics again.
