Bebe Rexha, the artist behind hits like «Meant To Be,» «I’m Good,» and «In The Name of Love,» has taken to social media to express her frustration with the music industry. The 34-year-old singer released her latest single, «I’m The Drama,» on Friday, June 28, following her previous track «Chase It (Mmm Da Da Da).» However, Rexha is unhappy with how the music industry is treating her. She decided to vent her frustrations to her fans on her X account (formerly known as Twitter).
“I could bring down a BIG chunk of this industry. I AM frustrated. Been UNDERMINED. I’ve been so quiet for the longest time. I haven’t seen the signs even though people constantly are bringing them up and they have been SO OBVIOUS. And when I have spoken up I’ve been silence and PUNISHED by this industry Things must change or I’m telling ALL of my truths. The good the bad and the ugly.”

The truth is, Bebe Rexha’s fans have supported her and encouraged her to speak out about the issue. According to her, these messages have made her stronger. It seems like she’s fed up with how the music industry works.
Honestly you all have given me the strength.

While we don’t know the exact details that led her to lash out on social media, it looks like it’s been a buildup of events. A few weeks ago, she also called out rapper G-Eazy, who she had collaborated with on «Me, Myself & I.» She called him ‘ungrateful’ and hinted that she could spill the truth about him: “I could tell everyone all the ugly things you’ve done to me and how you treated me after I gave you your only real hit.”
