This Wednesday was a night full of strong emotions at the Viña del Mar 2024 in Chile. The Puerto Rican reggaeton star Mora opened the night with a hard-hitting performance, followed by the monologue of the Chilean comedian Lucho Miranda, who absolutely gained the audience’s affection.
The Brazilian queen Anitta was the headlining artist chosen to wrap up the show on the fourth day of the highly anticipated event. Taking a look at the boxes and bleachers at the Quinta Vergara stadium, it was clear that a big amount of fans were waiting for the singer of “Bellakeo” to make her big appearance.
The singer from Rio de Janeiro delivered a dazzling performance of several hits, including Downtown, Todo o Nada and Funk Rave, among others. Of course, she even showed her iconic dance moves, one of her personal hallmarks. “I’m going to show you how we shake our butts in Brazil,» she said.
Although not all was as planned because the Brazilian diva exited the event without publicly receiving her Golden Gaviota —the main award at the Viña del Mar festival—, she had even time to protagonize an emotive moment after the wildfire crisis in Chile last February due to the record-breaking temperatures, which resulted in severe incidents across the northern regions of Libertador, Aracaunía, Valparaíso and more.
“To all of you who like this look, I don’t know if your butt is going to look the same, but it doesn’t cost anything to try,» she said. «I’m donating the look I’m wearing in this concert to help with everything that happened here in the villages with the fire issue», the ‘Mil Veces’ singer announced.

In this sense, the artist addressed her colleagues, calling on them to «keep watching, it is very common that when something complicated happens, close to the date, many people help but then they continue to need it.» In this regard, Annita added: «Not only today, but also after a few months we are going to check again who still needs it and help with something else.»
