The famous Italian tenor and composer Andrea Bocelli will celebrate his 30 years in music with a grand event next July. Bocelli will commemorate his anniversary in the music industry with THE CONCERT OF A LIFETIME, a 3-day maxi concert in a dream location in Italy, his homeland, where he will be surrounded by great international artists who will support him on such a special day.
The Italian musician is one of the most recognized voices in classical music, one of the most revered internationally, and also one of the most awarded artists. With nearly 90 million albums sold, he has received a Golden Globe, seven BRIT Classical Music Awards, seven World Music Awards, and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
On July 15, 17, and 19, at the Teatro del Silenzio in Lajatico, in the Italian region of Tuscany, in a natural amphitheater located in Andrea Bocelli’s hometown, the show will take place with artists of different ages and musical genres like Ed Sheeran, Brian May, Christian Nodal, Shania Twain, Laura Pausini, Tiziano Ferro, Nadine Sierra, José Carreras, and also his children Matteo and Virginia Bocelli.
Bocelli himself, who will perform in collaboration with the already confirmed artists and some others yet to be revealed. «As a child, I learned to dream about my future in the enchanted silence of these hills. Then life made that dream happen. Today, 30 years later, I can only imagine celebrating my career and my life, its strength, and its wondrous beauty here at Teatro del Silenzio, surrounded by such wonderful artists and friends. I want to thank everyone who helped my childhood dreams come true with an unforgettable concert,» he recently declared.
Documentaries and tour and concert films are more popular than ever, and Andrea Bocelli will have his own. The Italian tenor will record everything that happens during this special concert and then release Andrea Bocelli 30: The Celebration, the movie.
Emmy Award-winning and recent Grammy-nominated Sam Wrench will direct the documentary. «There is nothing more cinematic than Andrea Bocelli against the Tuscan landscape. I am incredibly excited to bring this unique concert to cinemas worldwide with his unique voice, this world-class team, and an enviable list of special guests.»
