After weeks of speculation, the Spanish soccer player Álvaro Morata has broken his silence regarding his recent separation from model and influencer Alice Campello.
He did so in a recent interview on Spanish radio station COPE’s Herrera en COPE, where the striker, who currently plays for AC Milan, was candid and explained that their separation was not due to infidelities, as had been rumored in some media outlets, but rather because of «different opinions» on life.
«People don’t understand that some things end for no reason related to third parties or anything at all. I have a very clear conscience,» he stated.

The soccer player, calm but serious, though looking somewhat downcast, made it clear that there were no third parties involved and that they had both decided to go separate ways due to those differences. «I respect her a lot and have affection for her, but we have different opinions,» the player stated.
Additionally, during the same interview, Morata spoke about other personal matters, such as his recent bouts of depression and panic attacks, which have deeply affected him in recent months. He acknowledged that it was a period of great darkness in his life, where he even had to resort to medication to cope with daily life. «I’ve had to take everything,» he said, referring to the treatments he underwent to overcome his emotional struggles.
Regarding his relationship with Campello, the soccer player emphasized how important she has been in his life and career, but noted that although the affection and respect remain, their differing views led to the breakup. He also reflected on the impact these rumors can have on their children, which concerns him greatly. «What can hurt is my children, not me,» he asserted, highlighting his desire for them not to be affected by the lies and assumptions circulating in the media.
Morata seems to be starting a new chapter both personally and professionally, after making important decisions like moving to Italy and focusing on his mental well-being.
