The Spanish artist, who has become the musical sensation of the moment thanks to the incredible success of his song «Si No Estás,» has just claimed the top position on the list of the most streamed songs in the world on Spotify Global Top 50. His track has managed to surpass Tate McRae’s «Greedy,» Jung Kook’s «Seven,» and even the famous Bad Bunny with «Monaco.»

In this way, Iñigo Quintero, a promising young talent from Galicia (Spain), who was a complete unknown just four weeks ago, now has the most listened-to song in the world. It’s truly a frenzy. The craze for this track started on TikTok last September when the song’s sound began to go viral, thanks to users sharing it along with some photos. The growth was exponential, and in less than two months, «Si No Estás» has accumulated over 130 million streams, while Iñigo Quintero boasts 19 million Monthly Listeners on Spotify, all thanks to this song.

Iñigo Quintero’s achievement is historic. He’s the first Spaniard to have a solo song reach the worldwide number one spot. No other Spanish artist has accomplished this feat. Quevedo managed it, but it was in collaboration with Bizarrap.

Iñigo Quintero hails from A Coruña (Spain), and as we can see from his social media, he has always felt a strong need to tell stories through music.
