Usher is about to celebrate the 30th anniversary of his debut album, Usher (1994). And he’s going to do it in a spectacular way, as important occasions deserve. Not everyone reaches three decades of making the audience and his immense legion of fans enjoy.

As we’ve already mentioned, the R&B artist has been confirmed as the headlining act for the halftime show at the upcoming Super Bowl. Besides the fact that it’s likely to be one of the most-watched TV events, it’s a unique platform to introduce his music to a whole new generation of fans.

With less than 5 months to go until the final showdown, no details have emerged about what we can expect from Usher’s show. What’s clear is that he doesn’t want to leave anything to chance, so we’re going to give him some ideas/suggestions to make his performance as unforgettable as those of previous artists who have taken on this task.

In his discography, we find albums of various genres with different spirits but with the same passion for his sound. And in many of them, there’s an artist or collaborator who has further enhanced his legend.

Let’s go through the possible songs Usher might perform at the Super Bowl:

Yeah (ft. Lil Jon and Ludacris)

It’s clear that this has to be the opening song to get the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on its feet on February 11th, ready to enjoy the best fifteen minutes of a show worldwide. The presence of Lil Jon and Ludacris could be recurring on the stage, a kind of leitmotif to remind us, with «Yeah» playing in the background, of all Usher’s great songs.

Without You (ft. David Guetta)

In case the first guests don’t want to join Usher’s party on the Super Bowl stage, it’s as simple as inviting David Guetta to create one of the biggest collaborations ever seen at this event. The French DJ would bring a lot to the turntables and give us an incredible duo for «Without You.»

DJ Got Us Fallin’ in Love (ft. Pitbull)

We wouldn’t leave the electronic genre until the next song: «DJ Got Us Fallin’ in Love.» The combination of pop, Latin urban, and rock sounds would guarantee a show designed for everyone, as indicated by the dominance of different genres on the charts.

Dientes (ft. J Balvin and DJ Khaled)

In recent years, Usher has released new and very good music, and it’s likely that on the same day as the Super Bowl, he’ll do the same. Coming Home is his new studio album and will be available on the same night he performs in front of millions of viewers. His companions could be J Balvin or DJ Khaled, who would take over the turntables from David Guetta to close the show. The first of many great songs to come on this new studio album.

U Got It Bad

«U Got It Bad» is one of the artist’s most notable songs in the current music landscape. It serves as a reference for many, including artists like Chris Brown and, of course, Justin Bieber.

Usher has also been part of other incredible collaborations such as the «Somebody To Love Remix» with Justin Bieber, «Love in This Club, Pt. 2» alongside Lil Wayne and Beyoncé, or «My Boo» with Alicia Keys. Undoubtedly, any of these live collaborations would completely blow our minds.

The iconic singer, born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, has options to choose from so he won’t be alone on stage and can drive the audience wild. What we’re sure won’t be missing are his usual crazy choreographies. Are you ready?
