Not only because we’re getting closer and closer to listen to his highly anticipated album ‘Utopia,» which will be released on July 28, but also because he has just teased an explosive new collab featuring The Weeknd and reggaeton world star Bad Bunny: «KPOP». Yes, the short term to refer to South Korean popular music, which mixes a wide range of music styles and genres, including pop, hip-hop, R&B, rock or jazz, among others, and has become a huge viral phenomenon in the last few years.

The rapper is now set to launch his upcoming studio album for the first time in nearly five years. «Utopia» pretends to be the follow-up to «Astroworld (2018) which debuted at the top of the Billboard 200 chart.

Moreover, Scott announced a livestream event to celebrate the album launch that will take place at the Giza Pyramids in Egypt. A polemic presentation that, according to several media outlets, was going to be canceled after the Egyptian Musicians Syndicate threw a campaign against the hip-hop referent due to Scott’s «positions» and «the strange rituals he practices», which are against national traditions, according to the political formation. However, Live Nation has recently confirmed to Billboard that the show goes on as planned.
