Members of Stray Kids, the current K-pop sensation, had a rather packed schedule in recent days. However, these commitments have suddenly been hindered by an unexpected car accident involving three of the band’s members.
According to a statement from their management agency, JYP Entertainment, Lee Know, Seungmin, and Hyunjin were traveling in a vehicle on their way back to their hotel on September 20 when the car experienced a ‘minor collision.’
As stated in the press release, immediately after the crash, the three Stray Kids members were taken to the hospital, where they underwent a ‘thorough medical examination.’ However, their agency has assured that none of the singers suffered serious injuries, but they did experience ‘mild muscle pains and bruises,’ so medical personnel advised them to rest until they fully recover.
As a result, the Stray Kids team has been forced to cancel or modify their upcoming events, at least for the time being:
- Milan Fashion Week [canceled]
- Seungmin’s Birthday YouTube Live [canceled]
- Stray Kids’ 3RACHA at the Global Citizen Festival in New York: Only Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han will perform [modified]
