Who is Benny Blanco, Selena Gomez’s New Confirmed Partner?

After numerous rumors, the singer has officially introduced him

Selena Gomez has shown us over the years that you don’t need to have a romantic partner to be a happy and fulfilled person. However, she has also demonstrated that we shouldn’t close the door to love when it comes knocking. The singer and founder of the Rare Beauty brand has spent a significant period without a serious relationship and has focused on herself in recent years. Now, Selena has surprised us by confirming her relationship with musician Benny Blanco through her Instagram.

The singer recently posted a series of pictures, including some with Blanco. And just in case there was any uncertainty about their romantic relationship, the last image shows the couple sharing a kiss. Among the comments, there’s one from Benny, who humorously commented with a pineapple, possibly referencing an inside joke between them. What we can say for sure is that we’re genuinely delighted to see Selena looking so happy; she absolutely deserves it.

Who’s Benny Blanco?

Benjamin Joseph Levin, known professionally as Benny Blanco, was born on March 8, 1988. He’s currently 35 years old, and he’s already a famous musician, singer-songwriter, and music producer who has teamed up with big-name stars like Dr. Luke, Katy Perry, BTS, Snoop Dogg, and Britney Spears. His breakthrough came with Britney’s hit «Circus» back in 2008. Selena and Blanco have known each other for a while, and in 2018, they collaborated on the song «I Can’t Get Enough.»

First Rumors

Some of Selena’s fans began circulating rumors about a possible romantic relationship involving the singer. However, she later dropped more clues, confirming these rumors, by sharing several images that left little doubt. In the story she shared, we could see her leaning on a man (Blanco). To keep some suspense, his face wasn’t visible; we could only see his shirt adorned with elephant and zebra prints.

Selena didn’t offer additional context, but a few days later, she reignited rumors when she liked a post from PopFactions that read, “Rumor: Selena Gomez is rumored to be dating music producer Benny Blanco.” She followed this by sharing another story in which she wore a ring featuring the letter ‘B’ and a gemstone on her ring finger.

According to Elle magazine, after sharing the photo, the singer commented on Instagram posts that confirmed her relationship. She mentioned that he’s treated her better than anyone else on this planet, and made it clear that she’s very happy, saying, “He’s still the best partner I’ve ever had.”
