Rosalía Dazzles on the Red Carpet at the 2023 Latin Grammys in Seville

Rosalía hadn’t made a public appearance in quite some time –figuratively speaking, because we’ve been following her closely on social media–, and we’ve really missed seeing her. The singer has taken the spotlight at one of this year’s biggest international music events, which is being held in the Spanish city of Sevilla: the 2023 Latin Grammy Awards. 

As we’ve mentioned in our previous articles, this year’s Latin Grammys are happening in Sevilla, marking a historic shift from their usual location in the United States. And naturally, one of Spain’s biggest international stars couldn’t miss this event in her home country. In the days leading up to the awards, Rosalía was seen in Sevilla, embracing a distinctly Andalusian style. However, it was on the red carpet where she truly stole the show, drawing everyone’s attention with her stunning appearance.

Simplicity & Elegance with a Touch of Sensuality

That’s how Rosalía presented herself on the red carpet at the 2023 Latin Grammy Awards in Sevilla. And her remarkable outfit was a creation by Balenciaga, designed by Demna Gvasalia for the upcoming spring-summer collection. She wore a breathtaking black dress with lace-like transparency, featuring an incredibly long train and high stiletto heels that accentuated her figure. Underneath the dress, her matching black lingerie was visible through the sheer fabric, adding to her overall allure. 

Complementing this haute couture ensemble was her long black hair flowing freely in the breeze, along with understated makeup that accentuated her cheekbones. Golden accessories completed her look, perfectly in sync with the preferred style of celebrities at this prestigious event. The crowd’s ecstatic cheers and shouts of ‘Rosalía, Rosalía!’ drowned out the barrage of camera flashes as she made her way down the red carpet. She was the star who illuminated the 2023 Latin Grammy Awards in Sevilla.

Now, all that remains is to see if her performance lives up to the spectacular rumors. In recent hours, there have been numerous speculations about what we can expect. What’s certain is that with Rosalía’s expertise in and passion for flamenco, and considering the deep-rooted flamenco culture in Sevilla, her performance of ‘Despechá’ will undoubtedly be a beautiful tribute to this musical genre. 

As of now, the songs she’ll perform during the gala remain a mystery, but this won’t be Rosalía’s first appearance at the Latin Grammys. In 2019, she performed «A Palé» and «Con Altura» live, and last year, she sang «Hentai» and «Despechá,» so it’s reasonable to assume that she’ll choose something different this time.
