Morat has pleasantly surprised us with their first English-language song, «Someone I Used to Know.» This single features a collaboration with the British artist James TW. Fans are eagerly awaiting the group’s fifth studio album, and it’s expected that this song will be included alongside «Feo» and «Nunca Volvieron» on their upcoming record. Notably, this new release follows their announcement of a United States tour, just a week prior.

The song delves into the emotions of fear and insecurity one experiences when starting a new relationship. It particularly touches on the uncertainty that arises when you’ve already been through the pain of a broken heart and the fear of going through it all over again. This collab blends the voices of the artists, incorporating different languages and complemented by drums and violins. Although most of the song is in English, the quartet has decided to include a touch of Spanish lyrics.

Morat shared on their Instagram account when announcing the single’s release, “We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed creating it.The music video transports us to London, where we can see the Colombian group exploring the city with James TW by their side. If you’ve ever visited the city with your friends, you’ll surely feel a sense of nostalgia, reminiscing about those days spent discovering the River Thames, admiring the London Eye, and savoring moments at street food stalls. All of this, combined with a retro aesthetic, creates a deeply nostalgic atmosphere.

‘SI AYER FUERA HOY’ US Tour 2024

As we mentioned before, Morat is set to embark on a U.S. tour in early 2024 to promote their latest album, SI AYER FUERA HOY. The 16-city tour is produced by Live Nation, and is scheduled to kick off on Wednesday, January 24th at the Rosemont Theater in Rosemont, IL. The tour will span various cities across the U.S., including New York, Miami, San Antonio, and more, before concluding on Sunday, February 25th, at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles, CA.
