Millie Bobby Brown stands out as one of today’s most globally renowned young talents, and this distinction can be traced back to her portrayal of ‘Eleven’ in the acclaimed Netflix series, ‘Stranger Things.’ Through this iconic role, she gained the respect and admiration of millions worldwide.

Considering this, it was only natural that at some point, curiosity would arise among many regarding what the future held for Millie when the time came for her to ‘say goodbye’ with the series that launched her into stardom.

While the news that Millie wouldn’t be continuing with Stranger Things might not sit well with many, the actress has openly shared her eagerness to venture into uncharted territory and discover new opportunities within the realm of acting.

This anticipation wasn’t surprising, especially considering Brown’s impressive lineup of projects with the major streaming platform, and desire to move forward with her career in other projects.

‘Time to Live Your Own Life’

She isn’t departing from Stranger Things, but she’s prepared for its eventual conclusion. And naturally, it’s bittersweet. The show achieved massive international success and cultivated a dedicated fan base, but all good things must come to an end, even when we’re reluctant to let go.

We said goodbye to the Harry Potter films, the Twilight Saga, The Hunger Games trilogy, and now, it’s time to wish for a good ending to Stranger Things.

I think I’m ready. It’s been such a huge factor in part of my life, but it’s like graduating high school, it’s like senior year. You’re ready to go and blossom and flourish and you’re grateful for the time you’ve had, but it’s time to create your own message and live your own lifeadmitted Millie during an interview with Women’s Wear Daily magazine.

On the other hand, David Harbour, who portrays Jim Hopper, Eleven’s ‘father’ in the series, expressed his thoughts in an interview with Discussing Film, saying, “What’s funny is when I started the show, I never ever wanted it to end. That’s why I love the show. I think it’s a great show, even if I wasn’t in it. Now we’re almost nine years from filming the first season, and I think it is time for it to end.”

But it is, of course, very bittersweet. You know, there’s a sadness there. But also, we’ve all grown up. It is time for us to leave that nest and try other things and different projects. And to let the Duffer Brothers try different things as well. I mean, those guys are so talented. I want to see what they come up with next. So it is bittersweet, but it’s definitely timeHarbour continued.

Currently, the production of Stranger Things’ fifth season is on hold due to the ongoing strike involving writers and actors. As the series was in pre-production earlier this year, the impact of this conflict on its progress remains uncertain. The release date for the 8 episodes that will bring the series to its conclusion is also up in the air.

Millie’s Future

Let’s consider that not only Millie, but all the actors have personal lives and have grown up during the series. For instance, Noah Schnapp shared how ‘Stranger Things’ helped in his self-acceptance.

Millie has both acting projects and personal stuff, such as her engagement to Jake Bongiovi.
