Manuel Medrano Talks About His Music in LOS40

The Colombian artist has won two Latin Grammy, has sold-out concerts in The US, Mexico, Spain, Argentina & More

Manuel Medrano is one of the Colombian artists with the greatest worldwide musical projection. His videos on YouTube have more than 1.5 billion views, and even Gibson, the prestigious brand of musical instruments, has chosen him as one of its iconic artists in the industry and provided exclusive references to his guitars.

The artist was born on October 29, 1987, in Cartagena, Colombia. From a very young age, he moved to Bogotá with his family, and it was in that city that he found music.

In 2015, he released his debut album Manuel Medrano which immediately put him in the national and international spotlight and on the main Pop radio stations of the continent. The album features songs like La Mujer Que Bota Fuego, Bajo El Agua, Afuera Del Planeta, Una Y Otra Vez, among other great hits.  

In 2016 he performed live and for the first time at the Latin Grammy ceremony and won two statuettes for Best New Artist and Best Songwriter Album for his debut album. In addition, he was certified Triple Platinum in Colombia and several Latin American countries for this very album.  

He has shared the stage with great music artists, such as Miguel Bosé, Carlos Rivera, Natalia Lafourcade, Jorge Drexler, Jarabe de Palo, Natalia Jiménez with whom he performed a duet version of his hit La Mujer que bota fuego, Carlos Sadness, Vanesa Martin, and more recently, with the Mexicans Camila and León Leiden. 

His Soldout concerts have reached countries like the United States, Mexico, Spain, Argentina, Chile, Ecuador, and Peru.
