The Latin American Music Awards are finally here! For the eighth consecutive year (with the exception of 2020, which was not possible due to the pandemic) next Thursday, April 20, the 2023 edition of the ceremony that celebrates Latin music and brings together the most important Spanish-speaking artists of the moment will be held.
Bad Bunny, who made history last weekend becoming the first-ever Latin headliner at Coachella, leads the Latin AMAs’ list of nominees (11 nominations). The Puerto Rican artist is followed by Daddy Yankee and Becky G with 9 nominations. Karol G, Rosalía, Rauw Alejandro, Romeo Santos and Grupo Frontera accumulate 8 nominations. Moreover, Bizarrap, Quevedo, Santa Fe Klan, Blessed, Grupo Frontera, Santa Fe Klan and Yahritza y Su Esencia are also nominated in the coveted New Artist Category.
How To Watch
This year the gala will once again be celebrated in Las Vegas, although this time it will be at the MGM Grand Garden Arena. Of course, it will be broadcast on US television: the Latin AMA’s preshow ‘Noche de Estrellas‘ (starting at 7 p.m. ET) and the ceremony (8 p.m. ET) will simulcast on Univision, UNIMÁS and Galavisión channels. The pre-show will be available only to stream on ViX.
Hosts & Guest Performers
The event will feature Natti Natasha as one of the main hosts; in addition to other celebrities who will participate in the ceremony such as Steve Aoki. In fact, there will be more than 30 performances by guest artists on stage.
Emilia, Justin Quiles, Manuel Turizo, Young Miko, Anuel AA, Bad Gyal, Guaynaa, Lele Pons, Myke Towers, Danna Paola and David Bisbal are some of the many singers who will perform their hits live during the Latin American Music Awards 2023.
