Lana Del Rey’s Largest Concert of Her Career & the Unexplained Massive Fall

The singer also announced a limited series of autumn shows in the US

Lana Del Rey is currently on tour after a three-year absence from the stage. She has performed on various stages across the globe, including Lollapalooza, the Newport Folk Festival, Outside Lands, and most recently, in the Foro Sol in Mexico City.

In March of this year, Lana released her ninth studio album, Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd, which she is promoting on her international tour. Additionally, Del Rey also contributed to her father’s debut album (‘nepo daddy’), Rob Grant.

“Lana, Hermana, Ya Eres Mexicana (Lana, sister, you’re already Mexican)”

Lana Del Rey performed for the third time in her career in Mexico City, specifically at the Foro Sol, where she gathered an approximate 65,000 people, according to Ocesa, the promoter’s figures. The last time she appeared in Mexican lands was at the Corona Capital festival in 2016.

Regarding her concerts, the first date she announced for August 15 sold out rapidly, prompting the addition of a second date on the following day, August 16.

Undoubtedly, it was an unforgettable night for both the singer, who achieved her largest concert of her career up to that point, and her fans, who have loyally followed her through her musical phases.

Despite the inclement weather and the usual traffic of an overpopulated city, fans adorned themselves in the singer’s most iconic outfits many dressed as brides, most with flowers entwined in their hair, and even some dressed as cherries, in honor of her song «Cherry»). They enjoyed hits that took them from euphoria to tears with songs like «Young & Beautiful,» «Arcadia,» «Ride,» «Ultraviolence,» among others.

The singer also took the opportunity to visit tourist spots in the city, where she kindly interacted with several of her followers. However, something quite unusual happened during the first performance of the song «Pretty When You Cry.»

Dominos Falling or Burst of Energy?

It’s quite normal for falls to happen at concerts due to the large crowd. Not to mention the pushing, which is present at all events. In the area closest to the singer, a massive domino effect fall occurred, leaving most spectators of that area on the ground.

However, the way this fall occurred was far from conventional; it resembled a forceful wave-like push, almost like a shockwave. And what’s even stranger is that this wave originated from the center and spread outward.

Many of those in attendance didn’t comprehend what was going on, and even with videos circulating on social media, it’s still not entirely clear what actually occurred. Some theorize that it was an inexplicable phenomenon, while others claim they felt a ‘strange energy.’

And of course, the jokes were not absent.
