Kourtney Kardashian Called by the Wrong Name at her Wedding

To be called by the wrong name in your own wedding it’s clearly one of the most awkward feelings anybody can experience. We’ve already seen it on ‘Friends‘, when Ross called «Rachel» to Emily, his future wife at the moment. It’s crazy to imagine that these kind of things also happen in real life, but that was the case of Kourtney Kardashian and Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker’s wedding. Fortunately, it was not exactly like in that famous TV show.

However, Kourtney Kardashian reacted in a very funny way when this happened to her at the altar. At that moment she was about to marry her soul mate, Blink-182’s drummer Travis Barker. As everybody knows, they have become one of the main couples in Hollywood and their passion have been -very- visible in the public eye. Now the ceremony can be watched in their new own documentary ‘Til Death Do Us Part’, now available in Hulu.

«I’m gonna cry»

Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker got married three times. You may have seen the most famous one: the lavish Italian ceremony that took place back in May 2022 in Portofino, where all the Kardashians surprised with their arrival in some goth-style outfits. However, the hilarious moment occurred in their first attempt to get married in ‘Las Vegas’. During an ‘epic night’ with a ‘little tequila’ as the socialite has previously revealed, when they decided to get married in the only open chapel in the city.

In the moment they were about to join in marriage, they were both surprised by Elvis’ words. «I Travis take you Khloé to be my wife», he stated in words that should be repeated by Kourtney’s future husband. Then they immediately started cracking up and the Kardashian’s older sister also fell into the floor. «Im gonna cry. I need to FaceTime Khloé. She’s going to literally die», said Kourtney without stopping laughing.

The funny moment is one of the highlights of the new Hulu special and has also been shared by her younger sister Kylie Jenner on Instagram Stories.

Three ceremonies is enough time for more iconic moments. From the extravagant outfits and the aesthethic chosen by the couple for their big wedding, to the emotional speeches of Kourtney’s sisters. The ‘Momager’ Kris Jenner accompanied her daughter to the altar and also shared a very touching moment before the event. She gave Kourtney her dad’s Robert Kardashian ring, so she could be with him in her special day. Robert passed away back in 2003.

«You’re saying walk slow?», Kourtney asked.

«Walk slow, this only happens once,» Kim added.
