«I haven’t put any new material out since my Darling Daisy. I think that I’m writing a lot and have written a lot from a place of love, because I’m feeling so much of it – so much unconditional love, that love you never knew existed,» explained Katy Perry, who hasn’t dropped an album since Smile (2020).

Katy Perry already envisions the end of her PLAY Residency in Las Vegas, and after years of trying to balance motherhood with her professional work, the Californian solo artist wants to fully focus on her music career again. This move would mark the end of 4 years of musical silence and 6 years without a worldwide tour since Witness The Tour ended. The artist herself is aware that many of her fans are eagerly waiting for her to return to stages all over the world. However, it’s important to note that she hasn’t stop working, as a mother and as an artist.

«I’m always writing, I have been, but I think what’s really important to me is to be celebrating the world that I’ve got to build with all of these wonderful songs and to be responsible for a life for a three-year-old,» she declared. «I will be back, but let me get this right.»

The lasts shows of Katy’s residency in Las Vegas will be from October 4 to November 4. And we can’t wait to hear what the explosive artist is preparing for us next year!
