There’s no doubt that 2023 is Ice Spice’s year. The rapper from The Bronx, began her career in 2021 after meeting producer RiotUSA and she rose definitely to fame in late 2022 after releasing her viral «Munch (Feelin’ U)» and later dropping chart-topping collabs like «Boy’s a Liar Pt. 2,» «Princess Diana» featuring rap star Nicki Minaj and «Karma» with Taylor Swift.
Now she’s set to release the Deluxe edition of «Like…?» next Friday July, 21, a new version of her iconic debut Extended Play, which is even produced by RiotUSA. A release that initially debuted at #37 on the US Billboard 200, soon peaking at no. 15.

The New York-based rapper has already a lot of room to grow, but she’s still working hard to take her breakout year to another level. Some media outlets even wonder if she’s going to be the next female Grammy front-runner for Best New Artist.
What’s clear is that Ice Spice belongs to a new young generation of urban artists (which even includes other young stars in the industry like PinkPantheress, Peso Pluma, Gracie Abrams and Coco Jones, among others), that are shaking the urban genre, bringing new styles and innovative visions to the game.
