Today is one of the most special days of the year the big night of the spooky season! It’s the day when kids put on their costumes and go trick-or-treating. But beyond the candy, Halloween is all about the decorations, and some people really get creative to put on the best show. We typically see the usual decorations like skulls, pumpkins, ghosts, monsters, and vampires. But this year, there’s something a bit different stealing the spotlight: Taylor Swift

So, What do These Taylor Swift-Inspired Homes Look Like?

First of all, it’s important to note that it’s not just a few houses; several homes have been inspired by the singer. In Boston, for example, two girls walking down the street heard «Ready For It?» playing nearby. They rushed to see what was happening and were amazed to find that multiple houses on the street were beautifully decorated for Halloween, all with a Taylor Swift theme.

The first house pays tribute to the ‘Reputation’ era. Pumpkins feature the names of songs from that album, and the predominant colors are red, gold, and black. Naturally, there are snake motifs as well. In the garden, we can see tombstones with the names of Taylor’s past partners, and the duration of each relationship is inscribed on these gravestones. The list includes names like Jake Gyllenhaal, Calvin Harris, and even Joe Jonas. Surprisingly, there’s even an epitaph for Travis Kelce, which reads ‘Sep 2023 – ?’

Another house on the same street is adorned with items representing the Kansas City Chiefs, Travis’s football team. Jerseys, flags, stickers, pumpkins – all paying tribute to Taylor Swift’s current relationship.

Look What You Made Me Do (Spooky Edition)

In another neighborhood, one homeowner set up a scene reminiscent of Deck The Halls, covering the house with thousands of twinkling lights. This impressive setup combines dazzling lighting, carefully chosen music, video projections, and Halloween decorations like pumpkins, spiders, graves, and eerie dolls. In the video, we can see the owner selecting Taylor Swift’s hit song «Look What You Made Me Do» to set the mood.

For some, this Halloween is all about a theme of revenge, with the «Cruel Summer» singer at the center of it. Another home takes it a step further by projecting Taylor’s music videos onto their garage door. The decorations sync with the music, creating a chilling atmosphere that’s just right for this time of year.

In another part of town, a neighbor has come up with a clever idea they’ve recreated the Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce couple using two skeleton dolls, surrounded by a collection of tombstones inscribed with the names of Taylor’s former partners.

Not everyone’s going for the video projections, but many are using Taylor Swift’s songs to entertain visitors. In one case, the song «Ready for It?» becomes the backdrop for a light show inside the house. There’s even a skull that sings along to the music!

The Travis Kelce & Taylor Swift Costume Trend for Halloween

Even though their relationship isn’t officially confirmed, they’ve been seen happily together, and people are sharing photos of themselves dressed as this high-profile couple on social media. We may not know Taylor’s plans for tonight, but one thing’s for sure she’s the star of many Halloween parties.
