Edén Muñoz, the distinguished Mexican singer, composer, and producer in the regional Mexican genre, will return to the United States as a solo artist with his tour Consejos Gratis (Free Advice), which is also his album title.

As a composer, he is renowned for having written songs for various recognized groups and artists such as Maluma, Alejandro Fernández, Banda MS, Pepe Aguilar, Grupo Firme, Banda Limón, Yuridia, among others. He has even been honored as the songwriter of the year by SESAC Latina on two occasions.

According to El Tiempo Latino, the singer revealed that the album reflects the transformation he underwent during his 12 years with the band Calibre 50. He also mentioned that making the decision to go out on his own and distance himself from his bandmates allowed him to confront his fears and insecurities in a more intimate way.

During his international tour, in addition to performing his solo hits, he will also interpret hits from the time when he was still a member of the band Calibre 50. The singer noted that his performances adhere to the same concept, but they are not identical shows.

Each city has different preferences. On stage, I go with what the present audience conveys to me. For instance, I recall that in Washington, DC, they lean more towards romantic music and corridos as well; therefore, that’s the direction I take in adapting my musical repertoire.”

Among his most recent collaborations is a rendition of the song “Clandestino,” performed alongside the iconic group MANÁ, merging Mexican regional sounds with rock.
