In 2023, besides being a fantastic year for the music industry, several artists and celebrities are also rejoicing over the arrival of a new family member. Some have already become proud parents, while others have shared this delightful news in creative ways, including on stage.
Maluma
After numerous speculations, Maluma brought joy to his fans by revealing that his girlfriend, Susana Gomez, is expecting a baby during a performance in Washington, D.C. on October 19th. The artist himself confirmed this exciting news in one if his latest music videos, «Procura.»
This is perhaps the artist’s most intimate song, dedicated entirely to the three-year-long relationship he shares with his girlfriend. In the video, we also witness the couple attending their first ultrasound and learning the baby’s gender, as well as the name they’ve chosen for the future.
Suki Waterhouse & Robert Pattinson
On November 16, the actress and singer Suki Waterhouse, known for the viral hit «Good Looking,» confirmed pregnancy rumors during her appearance at the 2023 Corona Capital Music Festival in Mexico City.
“I decided to wear something practically sparkly today to try to distract you from something else thats what’s going on. I’m not sure if it’s working,” Waterhouse mentioned, gently touching her baby bump while on stage.
This news undoubtedly saddened fans of ‘Edward Cullen,’ one of Robert Pattinson’s most iconic roles, as he’s about to become a first-time dad with Suki, and they are now engaged. We wish them all the best!

After a well know turbulent Hollywood past, Lindsay moved to Dubai in 2014 where she started her own business and met Bader Shammas, the vice president of Credit Suisse bank, and in April 3, 2022, the couple got married.
On March 14, through her Instagram account, she announced her pregnancy with an image of a baby bodysuit that read ‘coming soon…’, and with the caption “We are blessed and excited! 🙏🤍👶🍼”. The baby was born in Dubai and the couple chose the name Luai for their newborn. The name, common name in areas where the Islamic religion prevails, is of Muslim origin, and it means ‘shield’, ‘strength’ or ‘protector’.
Paris Hilton
Paris Hilton and her husband Carter Reum welcomed their first child together, a son, in 2023 through a surrogate. “It’s always been my dream to be a mother and I’m so happy that Carter and I found each other,” Hilton told PEOPLE. In November, the couple welcomed their second child, a baby girl named London, using surrogacy once again.
